TV host Sahir Lodhi booked in alleged cheque dishonour case

An FIR case has been registered against TV host and actor Sahir Lodhi at Shah Latif Town police station in Karachi over allegedly dishonoured cheques involving millions of rupees.

According to the police, the case was registered on the complaint of Nazar Mohammad. In the FIR No. 1569/2026, the complainant said he had financial dealings with Lodhi.

The complainant alleged that Lodhi had issued several cheques for payment of the amount. However, the cheques were dishonoured due to insufficient funds in the account.

The bounced cheques included four cheques of Rs200,000 each, two cheques of Rs900,000 each, and cheques of Rs4.5 million and Rs2 million.

Police said further investigation into the case was under way.
