'Wedding rings are just accessories:' Alizeh Shah calls out infidelity in showbiz

Actress Alizeh Shah hinted at how common infidelity has become in the showbiz industry. She suggested that some married men treat their marriages as nothing more than symbolic.

Taking to her Instagram story, Alizeh wrote, “Swear. Half the married in the industry think their wedding is just an accessory,” followed by laughing emojis.

In another post, she implied that she had also been approached by married men from the entertainment industry.

“But hey, not my circus, not my clowns,” she added, without naming anyone.

While many social media users agreed with her and expressed concern over the increasing cases of infidelity in the entertainment world, others criticised her for making such claims without naming individuals, accusing her of attention-seeking.

Earlier, Alizeh Shah also shared her disappointment over the public and media’s handling of late actress Humaira Asghar’s death.

In a separate Instagram story, she wrote that if people truly cared about Humaira, they would have supported her when she was alive and alone, not after her passing.

“It’s heartbreaking to see the hypocrisy unfold. People are posting Humaira’s pictures now, writing long captions about how sorry they are that she died, when not a single person asked where she was for a whole month. No call, not one knock at her door when she disappeared,” she stated.

Alizeh also criticised those close to Humaira for failing to check in on her despite her long absence from the public eye.
