Renowned Pakistani rap duo, Talha Anjum and Talha Younus, known as Young Stunners, are expected to perform in multiple Indian cities in December this year, according to local local media.

However, the much-anticipated tour is shrouded in uncertainty.

The tour is scheduled to include performances in Mumbai and Bengaluru on December 13 and 21 and New Delhi on December 25. Karachi-based music producer Jokhay will also reportedly join the duo on this trip.

While the hip-hop duo has been active on social media and shared details about their upcoming concerts in Australia and Canada, they remain tight-lipped about the Indian tour.

The duo's silence might be attributed to avoiding any hurdles to the event through premature publicity as a ticketing platform Skillbox abruptly delisted the concert after "recent revelations brought [sic] to our notice," according to Rolling Stone India.

Skillbox shared that their members were being targeted for selling tickets to Young Stunners’ concert.

The platform clarified they were merely a ticketing platform and not the event promoter.

After the news of Pakistani musicians' tour to India surfaced on social media, several individuals began circulating old tweets by Talha Anjum mocking PM Narendra Modi and Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, the Indian Air Force pilot captured by Pakistan after his jet was shot down in 2019.

Following Skillbox's decision to delist the event, the organiser of the Young Stunners' India tour, Desi Disco Entertainment has confirmed that the India tour will proceed as planned. Tickets for the Mumbai show are now available on a different platform.

“These all fake websites and internet gangsters can’t stop anyone from performing in India.” the organiser said.

The online campaign against the Pakistani rap duo was based on fake tweets after the organisers refused to collaborate with other social media handles that failed to generate revenue, Desi Disco revealed.

Though Young Stunners' trip to India remains uncertain, their popularity in the country is immense. They boast the largest number of monthly 152,583 Spotify listeners from Mumbai and over 245,000 listeners from New Delhi (including Delhi NCR).
