Sindh Flood Monitoring cell issues latest river and barrage water flow data

KARACHI: The Sindh Provincial Rain and Flood Emergency Monitoring Cell has released the latest figures regarding water inflows and outflows at rivers and barrages across the province.
According to the Sindh Irrigation Department, water inflow at Guddu Barrage upstream was recorded at 350,742 cusecs, while outflow downstream stood at 336,627 cusecs.
At Sukkur Barrage, upstream inflow was measured at 285,487 cusecs, with downstream outflow at 234,717 cusecs.
Meanwhile, Kotri Barrage recorded an upstream inflow of 273,844 cusecs and downstream outflow of 244,739 cusecs.

Officials expressed concern over the possibility of high flows moving from Trimmu towards Panjnad, where inflow and outflow have already been recorded at 550,965 cusecs.
Authorities added that the situation is being closely monitored and all relevant departments remain on high alert to take necessary measures.
