Palestinian envoy thanks PM Shehbaz Sharif for support on Gaza peace deal

Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Zaher Mohammad Hamdallah Zaid has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his unwavering support over the Gaza peace agreement, saying the premier has “won the hearts of Palestinians.”

In an exclusive interview with Pakistan Television (PTV), Dr. Zaher Mohammad commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s “firm and consistent stance” on the Palestinian cause.

“We are deeply thankful to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Words are not enough to express our gratitude for his strong and genuine support at every level — it has truly touched our hearts,” the envoy said.

He added that the Prime Minister has consistently delivered a “clear and powerful message to the world” in favor of Palestine’s just cause, earning the appreciation of the Palestinian people.

The ambassador’s remarks came shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump announced the success of peace talks between Hamas and Israel, confirming that both sides had agreed to a ceasefire late last night.
