A dramatic scene unfolded at Karachi's Sea View, where a submerged vehicle bearing a Sindh Police number plate was recovered from deep water. However, in a surprising twist, police officials revealed that the number plate, 'SP 286A', is fake.

According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle had been submerged since the previous night, and it took the volunteers of Rescue 1122 around two to three hours to retrieve it using heavy machinery.

Preliminary investigations suggest that four allegedly drunk boys took the car into the water as a prank. The rescue operation was delayed due to darkness, and it wasn't until morning that the car was finally pulled out.

Further inquiry revealed that the original number plate is registered in the name of a senior officer's staff officer. Interestingly, the individuals responsible for the fake number plate are reportedly residents of Quetta.

In a bizarre turn of events, when police arrived, they were informed that the SSP had a nephew involved in the incident. However, upon verification, it was discovered that the SSP does not have a nephew.

Police have made one arrest and shifted the vehicle to Darakshan police station.
