Govt declares public holiday on December 25, 26

The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on December 25 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Founder of Pakistan.
A notification was issued by the provincial government on Friday, confirming the holiday across all government offices.
Additionally, the government declared a holiday on December 26 for Christian employees in celebration of Christmas.
The nation observes Quaid-e-Azam's birth anniversary with great reverence, marking the day with various ceremonies and events.
On December 25, gun salutes will be fired in both the federal and provincial capitals, followed by the changing of the guard ceremony at Jinnah’s mausoleum in Karachi.
Across Pakistan, official functions and commemorations will take place to honor Jinnah's life, political achievements, and his pivotal role in the creation of Pakistan.
Special programs have also been organized by political, social, and non-governmental organizations to pay tribute to the nation’s founder.
