WhatsApp introduces new quick reply feature for voice messages

WhatsApp is introducing a new feature that allows users to reply more quickly to voice messages, simplifying the process of responding.

According to WABetaInfo, the feature is currently available on the latest WhatsApp beta for Android (version 2.24.26.6), which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

The new feature includes a dedicated button next to voice messages, which appears when a user starts listening to the audio.

By tapping the button, users can immediately begin recording their reply without navigating away from the conversation or manually selecting the original message.

Once recorded, the response is directly linked to the original voice message, improving chat organisation and clarity.
