An Afghan national, who works at a tea cafe in Karachi, was found chanting anti-Pakistan slogans in a viral video on social media.

The incident occurred on August 13 inside the Korangi Number 4 mobile market, where the refugee was seen shouting disrespectful slogans.

Awami Colony Police received information about the incident and identified the suspect as Ahmedullah, an employee of Masha Allah Gharib Nawaz Hotel in the port city.

On August 16, Sub-Inspector Rehman visited the hotel, gathered information from the staff and filed a case against Ahmedullah under section 123A for raising anti-Pakistan slogans.

The police have saved the video as evidence and are conducting further investigations.

Ahmedullah, the son of Zakaria, is currently absconding and the police are searching for him.
