The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that a fresh wave of westerly winds is likely to bring much-needed rainfall to the western parts of the country.
These rain-inducing winds are anticipated to persist in the upper regions until January 31, ending a prolonged dry spell.
Meanwhile, expectations of rain loom over Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir, with accompanying mountain snowfall.
Over the upcoming Sunday and Monday, coastal areas like Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Chaman, Barkhan, and Makran might experience intermittent light to moderate rain and mountain snowfall, while Sindh remains cold and dry, with fog in parts of the province.
In Karachi, the weather is predicted to stay dry and cool at night, with a recorded minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
Furthermore, according to the PMD, the upcoming 24 hours may see temperatures ranging from 13 to 15 degrees Celsius for the minimum and 26 to 28 degrees Celsius for the maximum.
Karachi currently has a humidity ratio of 58%, and the wind speed stands at 8 kmph from the northeast.
