Aleema Khan alleges another conviction being planned against Imran Khan

Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, has claimed that authorities are preparing to hand down another conviction against Imran Khan.

Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, she said that the PTI founder himself is aware that he is about to be sentenced.

Aleema Khan added that she will not speak to mainstream media, alleging that a few “planted individuals” were being sent in front of cameras to create disorder.

“I don’t want to give them another chance to misbehave,” she said. “If that happens, our workers may get provoked, leading to arrests. For the past two years, media has been covering this area without any such incidents.”

She further alleged that planted people were being deployed to disrupt the environment, while yet another case has been filed against her and PTI workers.

Aleema Khan also criticized the ongoing proceedings of the Toshakhana-II case inside the jail, saying the hearings are being conducted in undue haste.
