A female camel was found dead at the Morjhango turn near Kunri tehsil in Sindh's Umerkot with all four limbs amputated.

The tragic act came after a recent incident of animal cruelty in Sanghar where a landlord chopped a camel's leg.

The dead camel's owner, Rashid, told the local media that the animal had been unwell and went to graze a day earlier.

However, the camel was later found dead in the middle of the road, having all four legs severed and its body bearing the signs of torture.

Rashid, who discovered the animal dead this morning, said he would not make accusations until he learns more details about the incident or what happened to his camel.

"I have around 40 to 45 female camels. While all of them returned after grazing last evening, she was left behind alone," he said.

"God knows who made her run, beat her and cut her legs. We don’t know anything yet... we'll see what to do next." he added.

Previously, the video of a tortured female camel in Mund Jamrao village of Sanghar district a few days before Eid-ul-Adha on June 14, sparked outrage.

Somber Khan, the owner of the camel, expressed his dismay over the incident at a press conference in Sanghar, stating, "I have no enmity with anyone. I don’t know why this was done to my camel."

The act of brutality against Cammie drew widespread condemnation, highlighting the need for better animal welfare practices and stricter enforcement of laws protecting animals from such inhumane treatment.
