In yet another killing during street crimes in Karachi, a 36-year-old man was shot and killed for resisting a robbery.

The deceased, identified as Abdul Mooez, son of Abdul Hafeez, was killed while resisting a robbery in Karachi's Joharabad area of Dastagir No. 15.

Video footage from the scene shows the victim being shot in broad daylight.

The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Joharabad police station, and the death has sparked concern about the rising violence in Karachi.

On Jan 15, a teenager in Karachi lost his life while attempting to save his neighbors from a robbery as bandits gunned him down after he made noise upon noticing them exiting his neighbor's house.

It was the third murder related to resistance against robbery in Karachi since January 1.

The incident occurred in Korangi’s Janjal Pura Goth, in the premises of Zaman Town police station, where Muzaffar Iqbal, 17, was killed by robbers early in the morning.

Earlier, on January 4, an individual was gunned down over resisting robbery in the premises of Zaman Town police Station.

On January 9, Arif, a resident of Steal Town, was killed at Ghaghar Phatak as he tried to oppose bandits.
