An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi on Friday directed the federal authorities to block the computerised national identity card (CNIC) and passport of Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, over her failure to appear before the court in a case pertaining to the party's Nov 26 protest.
ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah remarked that Aleema Khan is seen everywhere but she does not appear in the court. Despite the issuance of non-bailable arrest warrants for her at the previous hearing, Aleema Khan failed to appear before the court.
Additionaly, the court has also ordered the confiscation of her surety bonds.

The court ordered the directors general of the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) and Passports to block her CNIC and passport.
It put off the hearing till October 27.
