Quetta: The Balochistan government has imposed Section 144 across the province for one month, according to an official notification.
Under the order, the display and use of weapons, as well as pillion riding on motorcycles, have been banned throughout the province.
The notification also prohibits covering the face and places restrictions on gatherings of five or more people.
The use of tinted windows on vehicles has been banned, and restrictions have also been imposed on unregistered vehicles.
The notification states that the measures will take effect immediately, and strict action will be taken against violators.
On Saturday morning, Balochistan — the largest province of Pakistan by land area — witnessed an extreme wave of violence, with terrorists linked to the banned outfit the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) launching coordinated attacks across twelve towns in the province.
As many as 145 terrorists were killed, Balochistan CM confirmed.
