JUI-F leader Hafiz Hamdullah has stated that the "marriage between the teer (arrow, symbol of the PPP) and the sher (lion, symbol of the PML-N) is enforced by a third party."
While speaking on Geo News' program "Geo Pakistan," Hafiz Hamdullah said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is not happy with this political alliance. Hamdullah said JUI-F will sit on opposition benches in Parliament and will continue movement against the system.
He remarked that the agreement should have been about how to eradicate unemployment and inflation, but unfortunately, discussions were about the distribution of power and chairs.
Neither the Pakistan People's Party nor the PML-N had a word for power-sharing or welfare of the people, he added.
The JUI leader emphasized that his party is not and will not be part of such a government. The government they have formed is solely for power, not for the nation's progress. Transparent elections were necessary for political and economic stability, he said.
Hafiz Hamdullah further stated that before the elections, we were hearing that a certain province, a certain party, or the federal government was giving something to someone, and what we were hearing before the elections happened afterward as well. There was no fair and transparent election, so we will initiate a movement.
