CM Maryam announces 'Overseas Property Transfer' service for Pakistanis abroad

In a bid to facilitate Pakistani expatriates residing abroad, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has unveiled plans to introduce an 'Overseas Property Transfer' service.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) seniour vice-president announced the forthcoming service during a crucial Board of Revenue reform meeting presided over by her.
Under this initiative, overseas Pakistanis will gain access to seamless services for property transfer, including processes such as personalisation, mutation, e-filing, and registration, a statement issued by PML-N read.
Overseas Pakistanis residing in the United States (US), UK, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and other countries will be able to take advantage of the service.
The first female CM Punjab has instructed officials to strictly adhere to designated timelines for property transfer services catering to the needs of the Pakistani diaspora.
The 'Overseas Property Transfer' service will enable Pakistani expatriates to seamlessly manage their property affairs from abroad.
Furthermore, Nawaz Sharif's daughter issued directives to maintain records pertaining to government land leases across Punjab.
As part of this directive, she announced to establish a 'Land Facilitation Center' within 11 divisions of the province by June 30, aiming to streamline land-related processes and enhance accessibility for citizens.
