Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved the scheme for students, suffering from eye-sight and hearing problems.

The project aims to provide aid to children, who have been facing problems with eye-sight and hearing, and would assist at least 700,000 students in addressing their minor disability.

According to the reports, the facilities would be provided to the student after their screening test.

In this regard, the concerned authorities have been directed to initiate the screening process across the province "immediately".

The project will kick off under the umbrella of public and private partnerships with AT scale. The organisation pledged to give Rs50 million for the provincial government's project.

Both parties are also considering to provide internet services in the schools across the province.

CM Maryam Nawaz also announced to build an Autism school in Lahore. The school will provide free-of-cost education to differently-abled students.
