CM Maryam wears Rs35,000 hand-painted suit on Independence Day

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, who is also known for her lavish style, wore a unique and elegant outfit to mark the country's 77th Independence Day on August 14.

For the change of guards and flag hoisting ceremony at the tomb of Allama Mohammad Iqbal, Punjab's first woman CM chose a stunning white dress with a green border and flag print on her dupatta.

The outfit, designed by Parniyaan by Ayesha, featured a beautiful hand-painted design. 

The brand shared Maryam Nawaz's photo on their social media page, revealing that the provincial head purchased the suit from their website.

"Threads of unity, fabric of pride! Hand-painted dress for Maryam Nawaz, highlighting Pakistan's rich cultural heritage on Independence Day," the clothing outlet captioned the picture.

The elite suit costs Rs34,999 according to the price mentioned on the brand's website.

CM Maryam's female cabinet ministers, including Azma Bukhari and Marriyum Aurangzeb, also opted for a white and green color combination, symbolising the national flag.
