Commuters face hours-long traffic jam in Karachi amid JUI-F rally

The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Fazl peace march convoy, which departed from Thatta, reached Karachi on Thursday, causing severe traffic disruption in the city.

As the rally entered from Malir Halt and proceeded towards Shahrah-e-Faisal, a massive traffic jam was reported, bringing vehicular movement to a standstill for hours.

According to traffic authorities, congestion also spread to Airport Road, NIPA, University Road, and adjoining routes, affecting the overall traffic flow in the city.

Commuters faced long delays, with journeys of a few minutes stretching into hours due to gridlock on major arteries, particularly Shahrah-e-Faisal.
