Deadly blast outside JUI-F office in Qila Saifullah leaves 10 dead, 8 injured

Another deadly explosion in Balochistan on Wednesday was reported outside the election office of Jamiat Ulema Islam-F (JUI-F) in the Qila Saifullah district. 

Ten people were killed in the blast, and eight others sustained injuries, according to caretaker Balochistan Information Minister Jan Achakzai. 

Following the distressing incident, the authorities have declared an emergency in the blast-hit district. The JUI-F candidate, Maulana Abdul Wasay, was unharmed in the incident.

According to the police, the injured were transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital.

Earlier on the same day, a powerful blast ripped through an independent candidate Asfand Yar Khan Kakar's election office in Balochistan's Pishin, leaving twelve dead and over 30 injured.

The candidate was not present in his office at the time of the blast.

According to hospital administration, twelve dead bodies were brought to the medical facility and more than 30 injured were transported to the Tehsil Hospital Khanozai.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) directed relevant authorities to take action against the miscreant involved in the incident.
