Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded a comprehensive investigation into property disclosures through a probe dubbed 'Dubai Unlocked'.

Addressing the press at Parliament today, PTI Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan emphasized the necessity of determining the status of properties in Dubai, whether they have been officially declared or not.

Ayub has also stressed the importance of tracing the origins of funds transferred to Dubai.

"Did these funds receive authorization from the State Bank, and where did they originate?" questioned the PTI leader.

He further remarked, "What the PTI founder [Imran Khan] has been saying has been vindicated."

He questioned the rationale behind investments in Dubai by the interior minister and others who make grand claims about the country's law and order situation.

The statement from the senior politician follows the revelation of an explosive exposé earlier this week, unveiling the ownership details of properties in Dubai belonging to a spectrum of global elites. This includes political figures, individuals under global sanctions, alleged money launderers, and criminals.

Various Pakistani politicians, former military personnel, bureaucrats, and businessmen have been implicated in the investigations. The collective value of assets owned by Pakistanis on the list is approximated at $11 billion.

Among those named are Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Senator Faisal Vawda, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Sohail Habib Tajik. Some of them have asserted ownership of declared properties in Dubai.
