Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirms commitment to lasting peace in Balochistan

Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that Pakistan's security forces and law enforcement agencies, with the full support of the public, will continue their efforts to establish lasting peace in Balochistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), participants of the 20th National Workshop Balochistan visited the General Headquarters (GHQ), where the Field Marshal emphasized the importance of national unity and steadfastness in shaping Pakistan's future.
Addressing the participants, Field Marshal Asim Munir described Balochistan as the pride of Pakistan, saying the province is endowed with abundant natural resources.
He added that the province's greatest strength lies in its resilient, patriotic, and capable people.
He said the federal and provincial governments are implementing development projects aimed at transforming Balochistan's socio-economic landscape and improving the quality of life for its residents.
According to the ISPR, the Field Marshal reaffirmed that the sustained efforts of the security forces and law enforcement agencies, backed by public support, would help bring enduring peace to the province.
He also stated that targeted operations against Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan would continue with full resolve until terrorism and its facilitators are eliminated.
The army chief concluded by saying that Pakistan's armed forces, supported by the unity, determination, and resilience of the nation, would continue to defeat all malicious designs against the country.
