Fulbright 2027 applications open for Pakistanis

Applications are now open for the 2027 cycle of the prestigious graduate scholarship by the USEFP, offering fully funded study opportunities in the United States.

According to reports, the foundation confirmed that its Fulbright Degree Program is currently accepting submissions, with application deadline of April 1, 2026. 

The scholarship supports Master’s and PhD studies and covers tuition, living expenses, health insurance and airfare, making it one of the most comprehensive international awards available to Pakistani students.

Officials say the selection process evaluates applicants comprehensively, considering academic performance, leadership potential, personal challenges and future goals rather than grades alone.

The program encourages candidates from diverse academic backgrounds, including energy, agriculture, environmental science, education and health.

USEFP also emphasized that standardized testing remains part of the application process, requiring candidates to submit GRE scores and prove English proficiency if shortlisted.

The scholarship is the largest Fulbright program globally, reflecting decades of educational cooperation between Pakistan and the United States.
