'Gen. Bajwa, Faiz used to get legislation done from us,' reveals Khawaja Asif

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khawaja Asif admitted on Wednesday that former COAS General (retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa and ex-ISI chief Lt. General (retired) Faiz Hameed used to get the legislation done from us.

Asif admitted the role of former army leadership in the legislation during his informal media talk at the Parliament House.

“It is the responsibility of everybody to think for the sake of the country,” he added.

Expressing his thoughts, the former defence minister demanded President Arif Alvi's trial under Article 6:

"It is on these two occasions that the constitution has been violated. The president is not agreeing with the institution."

"There is no need to disagree with the institutions," he said.

Asif said: "The power structure of the country should find solutions to the problems."
