Huge truck fire halts Indus Highway traffic in DI Khan

A container truck carrying clothes caught fire along the Indus Highway near Dhora Solahn Adda in DI Khan.
Police reported that the fire destroyed goods worth millions of rupees and disrupted traffic for hours.
According to local authorities, the cause of the fire remains unknown. The blaze rapidly covered the vehicle, reducing the cargo to ashes and sending thick plumes of smoke into the air. The thick smoke blocked view of the commuters on the highway, bringing traffic to a standstill.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control after an intensive operation.
The truck fire halted traffic on the road that connects Peshawar to Karachi for about two hours. This caused a lot of problem for commuters and transporters. After the fire was extinguished, the police cleared the road and the flow of traffic was resumed.
Police confirmed that no casualties were reported in the incident. An investigation has been launched to determine what triggered the fire.
