Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has expressed deep appreciation for Pakistan’s unwavering support during the recent conflict with Israel, stating that Iran will never forget the solidarity shown.

The remarks came during a meeting between Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and the Iranian President in Tehran, where the two sides discussed bilateral relations and cooperation.

During the meeting, Minister Naqvi extended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s message of goodwill and respect to the Iranian leader, and also congratulated him on what he termed a historic victory in the recent conflict.

He emphasized that Pakistan strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on every international platform and lauded the Iranian nation, including its Supreme Leader, for their firm resistance.

In response, President Pezeshkian said Iran places great value on its ties with Pakistan. “We will never forget the way Pakistan stood by us during the war against Israel,” he said.

He also warned that the Zionist regime is actively working to sow division among Muslim nations, stressing that unity and coordination among Islamic countries is more essential than ever.
