"It's judiciary's job to release Imran Khan, cannot attack Adiala Jail with rocket launchers", says Omar Ayub

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf secretary-general Omar Ayub Khan has responded to the criticism about not doing enough to get the party's founder Imran Khan out of jail.

In a recent interview, Omar Ayub Khan said it is the job of the judiciary to get Imran Khan out of jail. "We cannot attack Adiala Jail with rockets to get Imran Khan out of jail," he added.

Ayub said their lawyers are fighting cases of party leaders including Imran Khan and added cases against Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Bushra Bibi and others.

They all facing 'political' cases.

Aleema Khan the sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairperson Imran Khan has stepped into active politics, party sources confirmed on Saturday.

Last week, Aleema Khan accused the current party leadership of having no intention of freeing him from jail.

Aleema Khan made an unannounced visit to Peshawar and Mardan, where she met with imprisoned and disgruntled PTI workers.

The workers expressed their grievances, particularly against party leaders including K-P CM Ali Amin Gandapur and others.

During her meetings, Aleema pledged to launch a campaign for the release of the PTI founder, working alongside party workers.
