Jail authorities seek Pinky's appearance in court via video link due to security reasons

Jail authorities have approached the court seeking permission to produce suspect Anmol alias Pinky through video link in narcotics and illegal weapons cases, citing security concerns.

According to details, the request was submitted before the court of the Judicial Magistrate South in Karachi, where jail officials stated that it was not possible to physically produce the suspect due to security risks.

The application said that Anmol alias Pinky, who is facing multiple cases related to drug trafficking and illegal arms possession, was scheduled to appear before the court in two separate cases, but could not be brought from prison due to security concerns.

Jail authorities also presented a letter from court police in support of their request.

In the plea, officials requested that she be allowed to attend future hearings via video link, stating that all necessary arrangements for virtual appearances are already available inside the jail.

The court is expected to decide on the application in the next hearing.
