Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has urged its workers to take to the streets on Friday, March 21, to express solidarity with Palestinians and condemn Israel’s renewed assault, which violated the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and killed hundreds of innocent civilians.
The announcement was made in a statement by JI Chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman following Israel’s attempt to resume its military offensive, which has sparked worldwide protests.
Rehman urged JI workers to stage protests across the country and denounce Israel’s war crime that led to the deaths of more than 400 Palestinians within 24 hours. And this all happened under US supervision.
He described the brutality of Israel as the worst form of fascism in Gaza by Zionists that killed more than 48,000 individuals so far, including women and children and millions were injured in offensive practices.

Rehman also highlighted the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where Israeli forces have blocked aid convoys at the border, leading to severe shortages of food and medical supplies.
In this regard, announcing a huge protest in the country, Rehman directed masses to actively paritcipate in the rallies that would be held in all major and small cities.
Earlier, the White House had confirmed that US President Donald Trump was consulted before the operation in Gaza. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt had stated that the US administration supported Israel’s actions, emphasising consequences for Hamas and its allies.

Israeli airstrikes on Gaza early Tuesday resulted in at least 400 fatalities, marking the deadliest escalation since a ceasefire agreement took effect in January.
Subsequently, Hamas urged the global community, particularly Muslim nations, to take to the streets in protest against what it described as Israel’s “appalling” actions.
