A recent security operation against militants in Kalat has led to startling revelations. One of the terrorists killed during the operation, Sohaib Langove, was reportedly listed as a “missing person” by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), according to security sources.
The incident has reignited scrutiny over several individuals previously labeled as "missing" by BYC and other Baloch nationalist platforms. Notably, terrorist Karim Jan, killed during the Gwadar attack in March 2024, and Abdul Wadood, killed in an assault on a naval base, were also part of the same “missing persons” list, officials added.
Security sources further allege that BYC leader Dr Mahrang Baloch has consistently exploited the “missing persons” narrative to malign the state.
Several videos and photos have surfaced on social media showing slain militant Sohaib Langove participating in protests alongside Mahrang Baloch.

According to official sources, Sohaib Langove, also known by the alias Aamir Bakhsh, was killed on July 21, 2025. However, Baloch social media platforms such as Paank and Baam, allegedly linked to Fitna-ul-Hindustan, declared him “missing” just days later on July 25.
Baam claimed that Langove was forcibly disappeared from Kali Sariab, Quetta, on July 24, 2025, three days after his reported death in the Kalat operation.
Authorities have raised concerns that neither Dr Mahrang Baloch nor her associates have condemned any of the recent terror attacks attributed to Fitna-ul-Hindustan.

As per security sourse, authentic evidence clearly shows that BYC is functioning as a proxy for Fitna-ul-Hindustan,” said an intelligence official. The individuals repeatedly presented as ‘missing persons’ are, in reality, operatives engaged in subversive activities against Pakistan.
