Morning rain turns Karachi weather chilly

Various parts of Karachi received light to moderate rain early Monday morning, turning the city's weather chilly.

The areas that received rain included North Nazimabad, North Karachi, Gulistan-e-Johar, Liaquatabad, FB Area, and Sohrab Goth.

A weather expert explained that the drizzle and light rain occurred in the port city's northern and central areas due to the formation of low-level clouds influenced by the "western turf".

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted that many areas in northern Sindh province will have cold weather. 

The forecast of the weather department showed the likelihood of fog in plains like Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Ghotki, and nearby cities.

The plains in the Sukkur division are expected to experience dense fog in the coming days. The department advises people to be cautious due to these weather conditions.
