Karachi likely to receive three rain systems in April

Karachi is likely to witness April as a 'rainy month', as three weather systems are expected in the metropolitan city, according to a weather analyst.

A weatherman, Jawad Memon, said that three rain systems will entre Karachi this month.

In a forecast, he said, “First system with its normal intensity likely to enter Karachi from April 13 and it would affect the port city and far-flung areas until April 15."

He further stated that the thunder cells will begin to birth in surrounding areas in the afternoon. 

“Second spell likely to enter Pakistan via Balochistan on April 17, the weather system will influence coastal areas of Karachi and Balochistan, and the system will be highly intensive than the previous one,” Memon added.

As per the predictions, the Southern and Western areas in the port city would receive heavy downpours on April 18 and 19. 

"During the period, Karachi would also experience high-speed winds," Memon noted.

However, according to Memon, a third system is anticipated at the end of April.

He also predicted that the mercury would start declining in the city from April 12.
