Rain continues to lash various areas of Karachi on Tuesday.

Due to water accumulation on the roads, traffic jams have occurred in different parts of the city. Low-lying areas have also been submerged.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain has been reported in various areas of Karachi including Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Federal B Area, Mosmiat, Gulshan-e-Jamal, and their surroundings. Additionally, areas like Saddar, Clifton, Gulistan-e-Johar, University Road, I.I. Chundrigar Road, Kemari, Sultanabad, and Guru Mandir have also experienced heavy rain.

The weather in Karachi remains cloudy, and the intensity of humidity has decreased due to the rain, making the weather more pleasant.

Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz has stated that light to heavy rain will continue intermittently in the city until July 31. Further rainfall is expected in Karachi during the monsoon season. There is also a possibility of good rain and improved weather in August.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has released rainfall statistics for Karachi. The highest rainfall so far has been recorded in Gadap, with 42.4 millimeters.

Orangi Town comes second with 26.4 millimeters of rainfall.

Other areas include Surjani Town with 18.4 millimeters, Paposh Nagar with 9.6 millimeters, Gulistan-e-Johar with 8.4 millimeters, Mairipur with 8 millimeters, Kemari with 3 millimeters, Sharae Faisal with 2 millimeters, and University Road with 1.4 millimeters of rainfall.
