The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the compulsory pre-registration process for Hajj 2026 is currently in progress, with the deadline set for Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

Aspiring pilgrims can register free of charge through the ministry’s official online portal or by visiting any of the 15 authorized banks nationwide.

The ministry pressed that no registration fee will be collected during this initial phase.

A spokesperson clarified that pre-registration is now a mandatory requirement for all intending pilgrims, regardless of whether they plan to travel under the government Hajj scheme or a private tour operator.
