Masjid Al-Nabawi Imam to lead Friday prayer at Faisal Mosque

Imam Masjid Al Nabawi Dr Salah Bin Mohammad Al-Budair has arrived in Islamabad on a week-long visit to Pakistan.
Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhary Salik Hussain, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Al Malkiy, Religious Affairs Secretary Zulfiqar Haider received the distinguished guest at the airport.
Dr Salah Bin Mohammad Al-Budair will lead Friday prayers at Faisal Mosque in Islamabad.
He is also scheduled to meet with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and other prominent leaders.
In addition, the Imam would hold meetings with Pakistani religious scholars.
The mosque, more popularly known as Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, holds profound historical and spiritual significance in Islam, having been built by the first Muslim community under the supervision of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
It is also his last resting place, making the imams of this sacred mosque deeply respected across the Muslim world and widely viewed as embodiments of religious devotion and scholarly wisdom.
