Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mentioned Pakistan twice in a speech on Wednesday, and issued threats to Muslim countries hosting Hamas leaders and attempting to portray Pakistan as a state that harbors terrorism.
In a video message on X, Netanyahu linked the September 11 attacks in the United States to Israel’s October 7 assault, stating. “Tomorrow is September 11. On that day, Islamic terrorists committed the worst atrocities in history on American soil. We also have a September 11, October 7, when ‘Islamic terrorists’ committed the worst atrocities against Jews since the Holocaust.”
He questioned, “What did the US do in response to the September 11 attacks? It vowed to pursue those responsible wherever they were found, and two weeks later, the UN Security Council passed a resolution declaring that governments cannot shelter terrorists.”
Referring to Israel’s recent airstrikes in Qatar, Netanyahu said , “We targeted the masterminds of the October 7 massacre in Qatar, which provides safe havens for terrorists.”
Drawing a direct comparison with US actions in the region, he added, “So we did exactly what America did. It went to Afghanistan in pursuit of Al-Qaeda and later to Pakistan to kill Osama bin Laden.”
“Region learning Israel’s power,” says Netanyahu after massive strike on Yemen
Netanyahu mocked international criticism of Israel’s actions, saying, “Now different countries of the world are condemning Israel. They should be ashamed. What did these countries say when Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan? Did they accuse the US of committing a terrible act against Afghanistan and Pakistan? No, they praised America. They should praise Israel as well for acting on the same principle.”
He further warned, “I ask Qatar and all nations harboring terrorists to either expel them or bring them to justice, because if you don’t, we will.”
Despite an arrest warrant issued against him by the International Criminal Court (ICC) over war crimes in Gaza, Netanyahu continues to enjoy international impunity even after Israeli occupation forces have killed more than 60,000 Palestinians since October 7, 2023.
Netanyahu’s remarks about Pakistan triggered outrage on X, where users strongly condemned his statements and warned him against dragging their country into Israel’s justification for aggression.
A great answer by Pakistan & Turkey to his hollow threat. Both the Pakistani P.M and Turkish president are visiting Doha to show their solidarity with Qatar , openly condemn the attack and guide Qatar for a foreful retaliation. A slap on the face of Netanyahu. https://t.co/4rFaorgcXX

He boasted that the entity’s cross-border assassinations mirrored the U.S. killing of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan, framing extrajudicial murder as…
If Arabs outsource their defence to Pakistan, Netanyahu will turn as quite as Modi.

Since WWII, #America’s forever wars set the playbook every aggressor follows. #Netanyahu leads the war machine & US foreign policy. From Gulf to Pakistan, allies must rethink gains from being US ally. Time to detach from 200 years of Anglo-Saxon wars.#DohaStrike https://t.co/nlYgpiJzBl
