Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has pledged to implement former Prime Minister Imran Khan's decision regarding the civil disobedience movement.
Gandapur reaffirmed that terrorism will be controlled, stressing that law and order is the federal government’s responsibility, although the KP government is actively working to improve the security situation.
He highlighted that KP's performance in security and governance surpasses that of other provinces.
The Chief Minister claimed that even the International Monetary Fund (IMF) had acknowledged the KP government's efforts.
Gandapur recognized the sacrifices made in combating terrorism and underscored the importance of dialogue with Afghanistan to improve bilateral relations.
He described Afghanistan as a neighboring country that has gained recognition from the international community.
Reiterating his allegiance to Imran Khan, Gandapur stated that any action announced by the former prime minister regarding the civil disobedience movement would be implemented without hesitation.
This commitment signals a strong alignment between the KP leadership and the central Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party agenda, as the province prepares for political and administrative challenges.
