Pakistan advises nationals to leave Lebanon immediately

Pakistan's Foreign Office (FO) has issued a travel advisory, urging its citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon and advising Pakistanis currently residing there to leave immediately amid increaing escalation.
"In light of the recent attacks in Lebanon, Pakistani nationals are strongly advised not to travel to Lebanon until further notice," the FO stated on Wednesday.

The advisory comes amid intensified Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon. According to Lebanese Health Minister Firass Abiad, at least 51 people were killed and 223 wounded in Israeli strikes on Wednesday.
Hezbollah also claimed responsibility for firing a missile at a Mossad facility near Tel Aviv, though this has not been independently verified.
Meanwhile, Israeli army chief Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi has instructed troops to prepare for a possible ground invasion of Lebanon, as Israeli jets continue to target Hezbollah positions along the border.
