Federal Minister Hanif Abbasi claimed that Pakistan’s armed forces captured and took control of multiple Indian check posts during a recent cross-border conflict initiated by India, adding that New Delhi approached the United States for assistance in the ceasefire after Pakistan’s military response.
While addressing the media during his visit to inspect facilities at the Attock Railway Station, Abbasi stated, “Pakistan has conquered and taken control of at least 22 Indian check posts without crossing the Line of Control (LoC).”
Commending the performance of the armed forces, Abbasi added, “We have only flown one aircraft so far, the F-16 jets are yet to be deployed.”

He linked Pakistan’s retaliatory actions to India’s subsequent offer for a ceasefire, claiming, “When the Pakistan Army launched missile strikes, [Prime Minister] Modi rushed to America, asking them to save India.”
The minister further said, “We made a promise to take revenge for our 33 martyrs, we'll fulfil that promise. We are standing with them and united in honour of those who were attacked in the darkness of night.
Praising the patriotism of the Pakistani people, Abbasi recounted the public’s response during an attack on the Noor Khan Air Base, stating, “When the air base was attacked, the people of Pakistan rushed toward it to defend their country.”
