A renowned Pakistani politician has advised the youth of the country to stop wasting their time at chai dhabas, hotels that are popular for serving doodh pati tea and gathering of youngesters.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement–Pakistan (MQM-P) senior deputy convener Dr Farooq Sattar's suggestion came during the Youth Convention organised by his party at Karachi Expo Centre on Sunday, where a large number of youngsters were present.
"We've witnessed rush on tea hotels, drink tea and get energy but don't waste [your] time at tea hotels," he suggested.
During the event, Mr Sattar said that young people from every linguistic background, without any discrimination of race or colour, are present at the convention.
"Every young person attending MQM's Youth Convention has come with a pledge and determination to help make Pakistan great," he said.
"Don't waste your time on tea stalls, every boy in Karachi is a Tom Cruise, now Bill Gates has to be born", said leader MQM-P Farooq Sattar during MQM's Youth Convention in Karachi.#BillGates #TomCruise #Karachi #FarooqSattar #TOKReports pic.twitter.com/FzSy9mm4YL

"Today, we must commit to producing individuals like Bill Gates and Elon Musk, rather than Asif Zardari, Shehbaz Sharif, Farooq Sattar, or Naeemur Rehman," the MQM-P lawmaker added.
"This can only happen if the youth play their part."
MQM-P also distributed gold medals and awards among the students who achieved top positions at the conclusion of the event.
