Eidul Fitr 2025 is expected to bring an extended week-long holiday in Pakistan, potentially running from March 29 to April 6, as per recent predictions.
The Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council has forecasted that Eidul Fitr will likely fall on March 31.
Given that the first three days of Eid (March 31 - April 2) align with a Monday to Wednesday schedule, there is growing speculation that the government might declare a five-day official holiday from March 29 (Saturday) to April 2 (Wednesday).

If additional leave is granted on Thursday and Friday (April 3-4), the break could extend to nine days, covering March 29 to April 6.
However, the final holiday schedule will be determined based on the official moon sighting.
Pakistanis are eagerly awaiting the government’s official announcement, as an extended break would allow for longer family gatherings, travel, and festivities.
