Weather in the port city and its suburbs is likely to turn dry and hotter from Saturday (today) onwards, the Pakistan Metrological Department said in its weather advisory.

According to the Met Office, the maximum temperature in Karachi is likely to range between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius on Saturday (today) and tomorrow (Sunday)

While the minimum temperature in the metropolis is likely to hover between 19 to 21 degrees Celsius on March 6 and March 7.

Easterly winds are blowing through the city at a speed of 4 kilometres per hour (kmph) today, the Met Office added.

The minimum temperature recorded in Karachi on Friday was 18.5 degrees. 

However, other parts of Sindh are also expected to witness hot and dry weather while cold will remain persist in upper areas of Pakistan.
