President Zardari vows strong response to any aggression

President Asif Ali Zardari and PM Shehbaz Sharif reassured Pakistan’s firm commitment to defending its sovereignty, peace and territorial integrity, warning that any act of aggression against the country will be met with a “befitting response.” 

In a joint stance, Zardari and Sharif said Pakistan’s peace should not be mistaken for weakness and claimed that the nation and its armed forces stand ready to protect national security through decisive action. 

PM Shehbaz Sharif backed the president’s message, stating Pakistan’s armed forces are fully equipped with professional capabilities, advanced training and effective defensive strategies to counter both internal and external threats.

According to official media reports, Pakistani air and ground strikes have targeted Taliban installations across several Afghan provinces, and the nation’s security apparatus remains on high alert. 

Meanwhile, Zardari and Sharif reaffirmed that while Pakistan seeks peace in the region, it will definitely defend its territorial integrity and national interests against any hostile actions.
