In Karachi’s Defence Phase II, angry protesters vandalized two international fast-food chain outlets located at the Khayaban-e-Ittehad traffic signal on Tuesday evening.

The incident took place near the signal, where demonstrators targeted the KFC and Domino’s franchises as part of an anti-Israel protest. Following the unrest, police personnel were called to the scene to control the situation.

According to police officials, the protesters targeted the international food chains in response to the ongoing atrocities against the Palestinian people.

SSP South stated that the protesters damaged property and shattered the main glass façade of one of the restaurants. One individual involved in the vandalism was taken into custody on the spot along with a hammer used to break the glass.
