Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Raoof Hasan on Tuesday said that the party has decided to make an alliance with Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) to form government in federal and Punjab.
The decision was aimed at getting reserved seats for women and minorities in the centre and provincial governments.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, PTI spokesman said that party founder has ruled out the possibility of any talk with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
"We will form a government with Jammat-e-Islami in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) over reserved seats," he added.
"Those who have emerged victorious in the [February 8] polls, should be allowed to form the government as it is their right [do do so], he said while conveying Khan's message.
"Imran Khan has given me the mandate to approach all political parties except PML-N, PPP and MQM-P, he added.
Moreover, Imran Khan has nominated Ali Amin Gandapur as his party's candidate for chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
PTI-backed candidates have clinched 93 seats in the National Assembly, becoming the largest group in the lower house of the parliament.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) came in second with 75 seats, followed by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) with 54 seats.
