PTI wants to repeat May 9 events, says Azma Bukhari

Punjab’s Information Minister Azma Bukhari said on Monday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wants a repeat of the May 9 events, and claimed that Imran Khan's supporters severely tortured the police personnel .

“Police personnel are being tortured, three were killed, and another 70 were wounded,” said Bukhari, adding, “They have had gunshots in the neck and legs.”

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, she stated that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur vanished while PTI founder Imran Khan’s wife has been giving Islamic touch to their protest. 

“Not a single Pakistani sees this demonstration as peaceful protest, where police officers were being too ill-treated,” said Azma Bukhari while claiming that cops in Sargodha and Kati Pahari were injured when bullets hit their neck and leg, respectively.

The Punjab Information Minister said that a policeman has lost his life due to the violence of the protesters, if the state comes to its own, you know what will happen, she added.

“You are saving your children and killing others, the condition of 5 injured policemen is critical, a policeman has lost his life due to the violence of the protesters and their agenda is to provoke the state to fire them, and then they will find the bodies.

The provincial minister said that the people of Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan have rejected him, they want to bring revolution by killing policemen, this is their revolution, and “the state is showing patience and tolerance.”

Uzma Bukhari said that the country cannot be good while the founder is PTI, Bushra Bibi addressed the rally, and Bushra Bibi was welcomed into politics.
