The Sindh government has revised the exam schedule for matriculation and intermediate students in view of the holy month of Ramazan.
Under the new timetable, matric exams for classes 9 and 10 will now commence on April 7, while the practical exams for these classes are scheduled to begin on March 10.
Additionally, intermediate exams for classes 11 and 12 have been postponed to start on April 28, replacing the earlier planned date of April 15.
The adjustments were made after the original schedule set matric exams for March 15, to better accommodate the religious observance of Ramazan.
Meanwhile, the new academic year for schools is slated to begin on April 1, 2025, and the academic session for colleges will commence on August 1, 2025.
The existing vacation schedule remains unchanged, with summer vacations scheduled from June 1 to July 31 and winter holidays from December 22 to December 31.
These changes aim to ensure that students can observe religious practices without compromising their academic commitments, while also maintaining the overall academic calendar as planned.
