The Assistant Commissioner (AC) of Sadiqabad Tehsil in Rahim Yar Khan ordered his protocol staff to puncture all vehicles found illegally parked in a busy area.
This strong action sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some criticising the misuse of authority by the bureaucracy, while others supported the decision, citing the lack of responsibility shown by citizens who park their vehicles in inappropriate places, causing congestion in busy areas.
The AC was seen reprimanding individuals for improper parking, while several men of his protocol team punctured the vehicles.

Critics of the action called for the government to take measures against the AC for imposing such a stern approach, which they felt added unnecessary hardship for ordinary citizens.
Others raised concerns over the unchecked use of authority by bureaucrats, questioning the fairness of such actions.
In Pakistan, the public often voices frustration over the perceived abuse of power by government officials and authorities. Those without privileges or influential connections are seen as more likely to face harsh consequences, while those in power often escape accountability for their actions.

The video, which quickly went viral, sparked outrage on social media, with users criticising the police officer’s harsh treatment of an elderly citizen.
The footage showed the officer thrashing the man from his moving bike as he attempted to pass through the restricted route.
