Prime Minister's Adviser on Political and Public Affairs Rana Sanaullah has come under fire on social media for his visit to Paris with his family during the 2024 Olympics.

An account named Rana Hassan Sheheryar shared videos showing Sanaullah enjoying France's scenic locations with his family.

Sanaullah was nominated as the Government of Pakistan's representative for the ongoing Summer Games in Paris.

The PML-N stalwart had also attended the opening ceremony of the Olympics with Pakistani athletes, according to PTV News.

However, his visit has raised questions about who is footing the bill for his family's trip.

The country's convoy consists of seven athletes accompanied by 11 officials, sparking criticism about the ratio of officials to athletes.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's performance at the Olympics has been disappointing as three out of seven athletes failed to win any medal for the country.

Social media users have questioned the priorities of the government and Sanaullah, asking why he is enjoying a vacation with his family while Pakistan's athletes struggle to make an impact at the Olympics.
